Vray Versions Plugin and Exporter

This could be a stupid question. @_@ Is there any difference between Vray for Rhino and Rhino to Vray? It is listed as a plugin and an exporter. So what actually can you export and to what? Is it like mental ray where you can save a .mi file that could be sent to a client for rendering?

Vray Versions Plugin and Exporter

Rhino2VRay was what V-Ray for Rhino started out as - just a simple exporter to V-Ray's scene file format (*.vrscene). Chaos Group, the makers of V-Ray, are still developing their standalone renderer - so we opted to make an actual native plug-in for Rhino. I'm not sure exactly what the fate of Rhino2VRay will be - whether it will remain a separate product or whether it will be incorporated into V-Ray for Rhino.
