I think I need sleep and I start to think that the customer add little by little things to add in the scene instead of telling everything at first.

what type of mesh do you import to be able to change and apply texture on the man ? Do you import it in pieces from 3dsmax ? so that parts are independant ?


and for this 2d girl:

can we get rid of the white line around her ? if yes, how ?

2d people without a blur of movement near camera still always looks weird. 3d people are not high quality and always seems fake...moreover if you have to make it "act" something.

The white line was bug of a previous version and works fine now. Look at tutorial M. Also some infos here.

3D people use own UV coordinates - simple import per 3DS and assign a texture. Works with simple Rhino material too.

Here is a website offering 2d people textures http://www.kropped.com, all images on the site are free and it has uploaded all the images in photoshop (psd) format which saves time dropping them in to renders.

I love finding resources like this, so if people know of any others please share

This site has a lot of cutout people and also trees! Most of them are ready in psd format.
