let the non registred to get access to all forum ?

Hi,
I propose to let access the non registred to all forums until there is so much people that it's getting insane.
Why ?
It's because with this way they will see how great asgvis vray support is great, how is going on with the wishlist and the buglist and see that you, asgvis team, treats well your users as McNeel for Rhino users. You respect them, you listen to them, you really gives true, direct support. If you look at the number of post on 30 days demo only, you could think that there is not that much feedback, interaction going on. Also, on the number of 577 registered users vs 23879 registered users for maxwell....
The more registered users that interact, use, try, the more they buy, the more we will have good pictures to see... I don't know... this is my point of view. FinalRender forum and maxwell has their "registred only" forums. But if you look at McNeel forums, it's a free for all and good also...
What do you think ?

I do not see a problem with this. When we first started the forum it was closed off for a reason- beta testing. We should now probably open the doors to the world. We can just keep the beta testing forums private.

We will put our heads together and do what is best.

I would like to see, if gasts and demo user could read anything, but write acess is available for full user only like at the chaosgroup forum. So, gasts could get all infos, but the service of a forum support is for paying users, they support VfR.
I suppose so, a full forum support for all user would need to much time.

The Rhino forum is free for everybody and McNeel pay for this luxery service. I'm not sure Joe and Corey has so much time. Maybe now, but what is, if more user like to get infos. And not all user will use a full version or the Demo.

Maxwell forum - the support of NL is very bad. The forum is closed for non registered users, because to much user of cracked versions was on the forum. Sidenote: 23879 registered users, but often only 25 are online - 0.1%.

I think, the VfR forum is like the Rhino forum at Maxwell. It's a sub forum and dosn't need to much traffic. Best would be, if every full VfR user could get acess to the main Vray forum. I think, it's time to get VfR and VfMax together.

We were always thinking of being integrated into the V-Ray forums - however there is a lot of behind the scenes stuff that needs to be worked out before that would happen. Until that time though I'm sure we can figure something out to make it easier for all of our users.
