Just a quick question, what controls the colour of a wooden floor from bouncing up on to white walls making them appear cream, just can?t remember what setting deals with this.
Regards Mark
I'm not sure, because I never have used it. Could be in the GI options. But, do you set sec GI engine 0.8. This should be set 0.8 allways. Maybe, it is what you want - 0.8 is physical correct.
most likely this is because you're not working in gamma corrected mode. GI colour bleeding is one of the many issues that are solved when you would gamma correct your scene and materials. (see User tutorials for more info on this matter)

Thanks for your input on this one, below you can see the effect when I change from a wood floor to white. I know I did something to correct this in another render but cant remember what.
Micha thanks for the link to PsicoSonic lots of good textures etc, I used a couple as the art work on the walls.
Hi Gijs and thanks for your comments What tutorial are you referring to.
Regards
Mark
- you must (!) use gamma 2.2 or 2
- most of your light come from the spots direct to the ground, so the ground colors has a big influence to the lighting. here helps to increase the (bluesih) light from outside
- set sec GI multiplier at 0.8
I'm curious to set the new rendering. If you jump from gamma 1 to gamma 2, maybe you must readjust the intensity of your lights. Don't forget to set all textures at gamma 0.45. It is worth to go this way.
