how is vrayforrhino doing in terms of customers? how many are they?
i hope it is doing well as it is a fantastic effort from you guys to port the best render engine to rhino!!!

i am also a little worried about you guys taking on too much, like now developing the plug for Sketchup does that mean the development for rhino is on hold, for service releases and rhino 4?.

and one last thing is it official yet if vrayforrhino4 will cost the customers of vrayforrhino3 nothing or?

    thanks

    Out of curiosity?

I think we would agree that V-Ray for Rhino is doing well and it is growing.

We were worried as well that we were and are taking on too much. We are very focused on managing this sort of stuff now. I am confident that we will grow to ensure that our customer base is taken care of and growing.

We are hoping that V-Ray for SketchUp is a few days away from releasing in beta form. We have been really focused on SketchUp for only a couple of months. Meanwhile, the Rhino development is not exactly on hold. In fact for the most part we have ported V-Ray for Rhino over to V4 in the same time frame. We have also been looking into a new license system that we hope will bring network licenses and a much more automated distribution process.

There are for sure a lot of things to do. We will announce official details of VfR v4 very soon.

      Out of curiosity?

I just want to reaffirm what Corey said - and also add a bit from a developers point-of-view. Our development is done in parallel. While developing V-Ray for SketchUp we made advances that will now be available in the other ASGvis projects - V-Ray for Rhino 3/4. So we never truly put any project "on hold" because 90% of the work we do is reusable in our other products.

We have no intention of abandoning, or slowing, development of any of our projects. We're here for our customers - without them we're just wasting our time
