We had a beta render queue plugin somewhere around here. I don't remember all of its abilities. I'll post the download location when I find it

Ok I just got the link from Corey. The batch render plugin can be found at http://www.asgvis.com/vfrhino/BatchRender.zip - this is something that is not finished by any means so if you run into problems with it I don't know that we can help. But it may be of some use to some of you.

        [edit]
        fixed link - thanks Micha

Today I tested it: great. So simple, but a good solution to control anything of a rendering.

              Thank you.

                  1. First is to go into the plugin manager and install the plugin
                  2. Type BatchRender into the command line
                  3. Click Add and select your file
                  4. Then a dialog box will popup with all of the set views(cameras) in the scene. Pick which one you want (hold control for multiple cameras) and click
                  OK
                  5. Click on Options and select your file type (.png is the default)

You should be ready to go. Right clicking on a qued render will give you afew other options. Enjoy

does the plugin allow you to render different layer states? Or is it simply rendering different camera angles of the same scene?

It is going to work off of the saved render settings within the file. There is no capability to have different settings with each camera. You can render multiple views from the same file, provided they are saved views with unique names. If you would like to render multiple views from the same file with different options/states, then save another file with those different states. Right now all of the options settings are not scriptable which is why there isn't any multiple layer/option state flexability in the plugin right now. Hope this answers the question.
