    Will eventually all the procedurals work as bump map ?

    And will it be possible to remove an object from casting shadows ?

    I would like to get procedurals working for bump maps. I don't know if that will get done in our first SR or not - but it is something I believe we need to address.

    Per object options are another issue we're interested in working on. Mainly per-object environments / lighting / shadow options.

      If I had to choose I would go with the second one.

      The procedural bump I can always have a work around.

        Yeah - the per-object stuff is slightly higher in my priority as well. But the workarounds to use procedurals as bumps irritates me It all will fall into place with time
