Hi Corey, Joe,
you are probably concerned about how we can leave the free access to users and be protected from robot spammers.
I think one way would be to set a rule in the programmation of the forum that do not allow to post a new subject the day we register. Bots join and post immediately. Either for most spamer. I think that if we set a rule like this it's sure that it's not very useful for new users that need fast answers but most of the common questions can be answered using search engine.

This is my idea.

We had a solution...but most people did not like the way the forum looked or felt...so we are left with the most widely spammed forum on the web.

I promise we are not sitting here doing nothing. We are working on a forum solution that will make you all happy.

I don't know how all of that works to be honest. I've never spent much time on it. I'm sure Corey's got something in mind with all the changes he's doing to the website.
