3d online furniture

Hi all

I have a customer that asked me if Rhino+V-ray are able to create some sort of 3D online furniture with good quality render in real time.

I belive that he might need some extra software also or maybe just open the furniture and press render to show customers.

Any help would be nice

Try looking at www.evermotion.org they have really good furniture that we have used for our visualization work. I don't know if they sell a vray version, but even if they did it would be a vray for max version.

Thanks for the info, yes I know evermotion but I was looking for something or some solution for my customer to present the 3d render of the models like in real time for the customers that go to the store.

Imagene that you are looking for a new couch and they have sereval fabric for that couch but only in paper printed so it's very hard for you to really see if you like the fabric or not.

So the idea is to use V-ray for that and rhino for the design.

The simple solution would be having the 3d models and textures and then open the respective file with rhino and just render the position that the customer wants, and change material if customer wants, etc but this requires that the customers have to wait for the renders.

well there is one real time renderer for 3ds max
also in 3ds max texture baking might help
