Can I use nosie option for bumping, or is there any use of it ?

Noise option

Currently our procedural mappings don't work for bump maps.
You can however create a noise map in Photoshop very easily. First make an image which is some derivitive of 2^x or in other words 256x256 or 512x512. Make sure the image is square. Go to filter > render > clouds. Now you have a perfectly tileable noise map.
