  • UV mapping

I lay down (unwrap) UV map (in another application), and export object in Wavefront .OBJ format, which keeps UV map. Can I use this uv map in Vray for Rhino, does Rhino import UV map too, or not? And how can use this UV map with RCM tool?
    Thanks for any answer.

[EDIT]: I found solution, so moderators can delete this post.

Could you post your solution so any other users who have this issue as well can see how you overcame it?

      Re: UV mapping

No problemo I thought it is simple work, cause I did stupid thing (forgot to aply material to object) then wasn't sure if is it possible, and post this topic.

I create geometry in Rhino, export it as mesh, then unwrap UV in Blender (easiest UV unwraping), export it as Wavefront .obj, with checked UV map export option.
After that used RCM mapping, and map it as Surface. And got what I need.
Just to note it was done with simple objects, nothing to fency. It's hard to unwrap complex meshes created with Rhino.

Here is one example (WIP) ->
