  • Beginner: Important settings.

??? What are some of the important settings to watch/set in VfR. by this i mean, I'm trying to put out images that are extreamly fast, and have some of that "soft" , beautiful, Indirect Illumination lighting/shadows.

witch settings have a large effect on this? (i'm sure they all are important, but i figure some have priority over others.)

    cheers!

hey crubadue, Joe B, vlado, Micha, dalomar,

any presets to place in the download section? i see an empty folder for VISOPTS.
it would be awesome to be able to load a preset, and then be able to look at 2 different ones to start to see witch ones are faster and why...
    (i assume that's why that's there)

    cheers!

But Rhino 4 beta support detail enhancement, and now we can use an universal combination of fast IM and QMC. Later more.

In case you weren't aware, we do ship a folder of visopts off the root VRayForRhino plugin folder ( Program Files/Rhinoceros 3.0/Plug-ins/VRayForRhino/options I believe )

I think they were posted before - I'm not sure why they aren't anymore. I'll ask around.
