  • sun and sky?

    Hi guys,

I'm having problems understanding the sun and the sky light.

Ive got the physical camera set up

Both background and GI (sky) are set to sky and the override is switched off as suggested in the manual. I have placed a sun and kept the default settings. I cant seem to create an afternoon or morning.

I seem to get 2 shadows. and it wont get dark when the sun goes to afternoon??

    Any ideas?

Defaullt light is switched off under global switches

    Re: sun and sky?

Check and see if you haven't accidentally added two suns. If it won't get dark in the afternoon then chances are there's probably another sun in the scene. Thats fine if you have multiple suns, just make sure the ones that you don't want to render are off. Also, make sure both the GI and Background are mapped to the same sun, or the right sun (if you happen to have multiple suns). If your still having issues you can send the scene to me via email ( dalomar@asgvis.com ) or upload to ftp site ftp://asgvis.com/incoming.
