    Mmmm the bump on rhino vray is activated?

    i put a bump on a material but i dont see it in render... why?

    The multiplier of the bump texture (bitmap, noise, checker, etc) refers to scene units, so if you are working in a scene where the units are mm and you mapping it on an object that is big in comparison to that then you may not see any results. Also if your rendering a test at a small resolution then you may not really be able to notice the difference. Also if you are using a blurring method (such as Irradiance Map or Light Cache), especially on low quality settings, then it is possible that that may be making the bump affect unnoticeable. I strongly doubt that the bump just isn't working (because I use it all the time), but if after all those things you feel its not working then send me the scene with the map.

        It is scene-unit dependent. So sometimes you won't need a big multiplier
