Also, the free sIBL sets contain nice, big HDRIs.

It does look quite interesting from a workflow/management stand point. Right now its not something that we can support because we don't have the ability to script any v-ray functions or parameters (very limited capabilities through the command line). However, Joe is working on hooking up some scripting functionality, so I'll try to let him know some of the functions that would need to be scriptable for this to work. Right now I think it may be a little beyond my scripting abilities anyway, but by the time we add scripting functionality I'm sure I could take care of most of it.
