How do i load up downloaded Material to VFR4.0

  • How do i load up downloaded Material to VFR4.0

    ive tried downloading the materials and when i attempt to load them up i cant seem to load them correctly can somebody help me on where to save them correctly i know where to save vismat but how do i load the texture and umm map sorry if i sound completely noobish i tried downloading the tutorial but for some reason i cant download it wont let me

    Next to a number of the options are "m"s...If those are capitalized, then it means there's a map thats associated with that value, and for loaded materials you will typically have to remap them to the right location. For the instances of texture maps there is another "m" inside the dialog box, so thats where you'll set the path.

      ok so when i open up the material it has a check on bump then i click on the m if its checked and then look for the texture png correct? ok and for the color click the m next to it and look click the pic also rite? thats how i did it and umm i think its right

        That sounds about right...you'll have to navigate through your file folders to find the right map, but typically it will put you out in the right place (more or less). So all you'll have to do is grab the map you need and be on your way.
