Rhino4 SP2 and RDK Updating?

I want to upgrade my rhino4 to SP2 from sp1. I understand there is an issue with the latest RDK. Will the current RDK be overwritten when I install SP2? How do i upgrade to sp2 without upgrading RDK and causing vray to fail?

SR and RDK are independent. I installed SR2 without problems.
