  • RESOLUTION OF OUTPUT

    Hi to all

I' m a designer and use Rhino since the first beta, lately I have discovered vray for rhino4 and I am keep resulted very good in comparison to Flamingo, also and more thanks to the precious and useful suggestions of the moderators and consumers (a thanks special it goes to Micha).
I come to the problem: I don't succeed in getting some renderings with a resolution d' gone out more' of the usual 72 dpi. on which parameter I must intervene?
    Thanks

    Re: RESOLUTION OF OUTPUT

For render engines pixels count only. You could change the dpi in applications like photoshop.

Example: rendering 1000x1000 pixels. If you set in photoshop 72dpi, than the size is 35x35 cm. If you set 300dpi, than the size is 8.5x8.5 cm. If you say, you need an image 30x40 cm in 300dpi, than you must manualy calculate, what size the rendering must be - 3543x4724 pixels.

PS: I used Photoshop for the calculation.
