  • OT: How to create a mainboard sound signal? (for render slaves)

    Hi,

I use some render slaves without a conected screen here. If I start the machines, I would like to know, when WINDOWS is ready started. Doe's somebody know a method to create a mainboard signal (no soundcard usage)?

    Best,

There are tiny little speakers that you should be able to connect directly too the motherboard. The computer I built has one, and I just did a quick google search and you can pick one up for a few USD. Just need a connection to the motherboard.

Thanks Damien, I got this little speaker for the new mainboards too and my old mainboard beeps at bios startup. But how can I create a beep? The spawner is started by windows autostart and is it possible to add a batfile, that makes the "beep"? So I could know, the spawners at the slaves engines are started.
