  • Collect all textures of a project to a folder by a little trick

    Hi,

    today I found a way, to collect all textures of my current project:
    * enable DR (no slave must be used or set)
    * enable asset collection
    * set "send to shared folder" to a directory like "d:\projects\..\textures"

    All textures are collect to the directory - good for sharing scenes with textures.The hidden pack&go feature of VfR. ;D

      I'll check the vray scripting methods...if its there, DR could be "faked" to pack stuff and it could become not so hidden

        Micha,

        I can find the DR enabling . . . but I see no items for enabling asset collection or "send to shared folder" Where do I set these two items?

          This is a feature that is not in the current release of VfR. Micha's referencing an added feature of the vfr4 SR1 RC.

            Right, it's a great advantage of the SR, that DR is sooooo easy now. All textures are automatic sended to the slaves now. ;D
