    I need to render a mesh and the quickest way would be a transparency map, problem is, it dosen♦t show up truly transparent! see attached. (the map is Black and white)

    DOh, just thought of the solution... if anyone else gets this, you need to also map the reflection fresnel... :P

      Yep, under the fresnel map have the map be in the Fresnel Color...that will get you where you need to go.

      Good thing you caught this cause it would have had me scratching my head for a while...then saying DOH as well ;D

        ... and if you need an other reflection intensity than 100%, than you must tweak the map. In the past it was possibly to use the map intensity multiplier. Damien, could you talk with Joe about this workflow issue?
