    when i render with the standard camera the image is completely white. physical camera produces the scene. whats the deal?

    The physical camera has the ability to change the exposure level of the image, and therefore manage varying degrees of light intensity. The standard camera does not, so you will have to change the intensity of your light in order to decrease the brightness of the resulting image.

    Chances are that this is resulting from having a vray sun in the scene (either by placement or through default lighting) in which case you will have to decrease the vray sun in order to match the intensity levels of the standard camera
