We're going to need more information than that. And is the result just by changing settings? or has the material or scene changed slightly?

      Re: QM Settings problem

Hey Dalomar, the materials and the scene are the same. The only difference is..visopt file.
Can I send you the Visopt?

      Thanks Zooropa

          Re: QM Settings problem

There really isn't much there that would seam to cause a change like that. The only thing that might really have that kind of affect would be the Max Depth. At the default its 2 instead of 5.

              Re: QM Settings problem

Anyone knows why QMC does this???
I read at Vfr Book about the quality colors and high def of this mode. But always I try with this...the image looks really burned.

              Thank you.

                Re: QM Settings problem

I don't know why there was a change, but in general settings in the QMC Sampler will only adjust the quality of the image as a whole. This is almost to specific for a change in the QMC sampler.

But, for example, If I gave my file to you, what do you think your vray will do?

                  Can we try?

I only want to know if this happen only to me or not.

                  Thx

                    Re: QM Settings problem

Still trying....this is a render with gi_qmc_lc_medium.visopt (Visopts from vfr). I loaded Michas Starter kit HDRI

                    Without Hdri files:

I discover.. that something with the Hdri...changes everything...
Could be that QMC and HDRI work different than IMap and Hdri???

                    Thanks a lot guys

Still trying....but not finding realistic. How can this happen ..the results are far away from the IMap+ Light Cache results.

                      Thx

Check gamma correction and color mapping.

Excuse me Micha...Gamma correction inside Color mapping?? or this is another parameter?

                          Thank you a lot!

Gamma correction at the global switches - very important!!!

MICHA YOU ARE A GENIUS! THANKS A LOT

I didn't know about Gamma Correction, Im trying to introduce my self in this parameter. I can't find at Spot3d anything. I only know that higher numbers = more light!

I read about this Gamma Correction at this forum but all the data seems to be for advancers.

                              Thanks a lot a lot.
