Crazy trick that might work ( I haven't tried with Vray)
You need to do two renders and composite in Photoshop.
1) Create a camera and render with vray.
2) Switch renderers to Rhino and tweak your settings so that the isoparms will render. I suggest all materials are set to white so the black isoparm-linework will pop. Render the same exact view at the same size -- don't move the camera!
3) Place the two images on different layers in photoshop. Play with the layer modes, such as multiply / screen / overlay and the opacity of the layer as well. You might have to put one layer above or below the other to get the effect you are after.
4) If you are feeling really adventuous, you might even try a gradient mask between the two layers. This makes it look like a photo-real (vray) render on one side of the image and then it transitions to a technical / wireframe view on the other side of the image. Kinda cool and may be easier.
