Material Library on Server

We have a few people using vray, in order to ensure material consistency we are storing our materials on a server so all can access the same materials. However, every once and awhile vray points me back to the materials that are on my hard drive. The materials stored in the ASGvis application data. Is there a way to have it always point at a desired materials folder? It is a pain to have to navigate back to the server continuously.
