It's been a while I dont visit the website and I see it has a whole new look, very nice. But my problem is that I can't get to my files to download the VRImg2exr plugin. I really looked all over but I cannot find it, I'm sure it may be in front of my eyes and I don't see it. Anyone please can point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

    Re: Downloads

As you can see, we're in the mist of some change with the website. Some of the downloads we haven't gotten back up yet, so you didn't miss it. I'll send you an email with a link to the converter. Sorry for the mixup

      Re: Downloads

The link you sent me for some reason didn't work, anyways, I made a some searches in Asgvis website and found it, thanks. I do have a question about these exr. Is there any way of making all the layers interact with each other to make the final image, like a composite? I tried ProEXR and it gives me all the layers, not like the one included in Photoshop (BTW, do u know that one? is it good or is there something better), but I don't know how to blend the layers (multiply, overlay, difference, blah).

      Thanks!

        Re: Downloads

The biggest issue is that the layers that you're looking for aren't there at the moment. We've added the channels that would be needed for a full composite, and that build should be publicly available within a few weeks. In terms of how those are actually saved within the VRImg format, you'll need to run the converter with several options tags in order to get those channels. And as far as I know each channel will be its own separate file. For more info, take a look at Spot3d...you'll need to brush up on your command line arguments

          Re: Downloads

Well, I didn't understand where i should write all those things, cause Rhino doesn't understand them. I'm actually a mac user running rhino on parallels, so if there is a thing like the terminal on pc i have no idea where it is. But, if you say a new build is coming with all those channels I'll wait for that.

          Thanks

            Re: Downloads

If you're a Mac user on parallels, I'm not really sure what to say. There's this thing in windows that is basically a command line. It was the main way of getting around in the DOS days, and its still there, although somewhat hidden. Those are all commandline arguments, so you'll have to input those when you do the conversion. I guess its best not to worry about it till the new build comes out.
