I had been receiving an error message when starting Rhino:
"Unable to locate or load "RHRDK.10.V40.DLL" - Some functionality for our SunLight Panel will not be available"
I had read that a fix was to reload the RDK from the ASGVis installer. This didn't work, so I downloaded the latest version from McNeel at Rhino3D.com. This required the latest install of Rhino, so I've downloaded Rhino v4.0 SR4. I installed both and restarted.
I no longer get the error on start up. However, I am now UNABLE to disable the sunlight. Even if I turn off Lights, Hidden Lights, and Default Lights, I get sun in my renderings. If I access the sunlight panel via the Rhino toolbar, it is always checked 'On'. If I uncheck it (to disable it), and press OK, my renderings still have the sunlight. If I then go back into the panel, the SunLight 'On' button has been rechecked.
How can I make sure that the SunLight is Off (and stays off)? I'm doing product renderings and I'm not all that interested in rendering all of my products outside
