Yea, we got that bug...I don't know when that really showed up b/c it wasn't when we first introduced the additional render channels...I wrote the set z depth script after we got those channels in there, so something else threw it off. Something else to take a look at.

In which version z-depth is correct?
Can I install lowest verssion and render only z-depth?

            Re: Seting up Z-depth

You could do that (it worked in 1.01.6, but you might try using the test command TestShowZBuffer. This will pop up a window that has what would be the z depth channel based on the extents of the geometry in the viewport itself. Its not going to be as pretty as the rendered z-depth channel, but it may be a better alternative than uninstalling and reinstalling over and over. Just screen cap it after you've run the command. There also may be version issues using a scene that was prepared in the new version of V-Ray with the old version, but since you just need the geometry for the z depth channel you could export a temporary file without any of our plugin information.

I tried with "TestShowZBuffer" but with image 7000x5000px this dont work good.
I have to instal earliest version.
Can You tell me is this version somwhere on yours server?

              P.S.
Maybe You now when Z-Depth will be fixed?

                      Re: Seting up Z-depth

Both Micha and botak, thanks for the information! I think I understood, so it means that when I paste the image with the Zdepth channel when applying the effect I will be able to blur the image as if I have the render with a physical camera in rhino, but instead of that I can do that with the Zdepth, is that correct?

                      Regards!

Right, the DOF per postwork is faster, but maybe not so perfect. Also you can use the z-depth map for fog effects.
