rhino 4 crashes when render large file/urgent

Hello,

I am trying to render a file using vray with rhino and i am getting an error that i am having alot of trouble with.

the error is as follows:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
__________________________________________

Runtime Error

Program C:/Program Files/Rhinoceros 4.0/System/Rhino4.exe

abnormal program termination





and than i click ok and the program closes.

I dont get this with small renders

just in the file that is huge.

its really frustrating, i really need some help!

Could be caused by the Rhino.exe RAM limit (at 32bit OS -> 1.6GB). Here you find my suggestions, how large scenes can be rendered:

Yep...RAM all the way...Micha's tips are very useful. The other thing you can do is render to VRImage which has the image render to your harddrive rather than memory.
