  • Resetting mapping coordinates

First of all, I´m sorry, if there is already a thread with this topic, but I couldn´t find anything. Ok, here now my problem: I wanted to assign one mapping coordinate to several objects which have all different coordinates. For this I had to remove all existing coordinates by hand, before I could give the objects one mapping. Is there a possibilty to avoid this time consuming procedure?
    Thanks in advance

    Re: Resetting mapping coordinates

I really don't think so. Since mapping is handled by McNeel, you'd probably get a better response on this from their newsgroup. That way it has way more of a chance to getting to the developer responsible, or getting some better suggestions as to get around it.

You can find the web version of the Rhino newsgroup at http://news2.mcneel.com/scripts/dnew...er&group=rhino just put up a post and you should get some responses as there's a lot of traffic over there.

Maybe something like export and import without plugin data could help, or explode and join.

Mapping data is not plugin data...its right there within Rhino.

select all the objects you want to change, then use the command

          removemappingchannel

          then add the new mapping
