Can someone tweak my settings?

Hi
Im new at Vray and i would like to have some settings i feel
comftarble with using overall. I do alot of Interior, productdesign like
furnitures, kitchen, and bathroom, and whole rooms and light.
Like most of you guys i want pretty fast renderings and good quality.
I tried alot of settings, read many posts here and ended up with these. Not satisfied though. Would some one please look at em and give e tips ill be very thankfull!

At the tutorial section of the forum you will find a starterkit that contain all settings.

I'm extremely new as well and Micha helped me out with this same thing recently. Check this post...

I've managed to get GREAT results with these settings and cut my rendering times by approximately 92%!

if haft to ask, do want to cludder the forum to much..
Bakround images, i wanna use a simple Jpg as a bakround
through some windows. I tried in options-enviorment-background-
as a bitmap. But i didnt get good results. It was difficult placing it right and the image got distorted in speric.
How does everybody else do it?

I don't have to do this very often since I do mostly studio type shots, but if I'm not mistaken you need to simply change the spherical option to cubic or angular. There has to be a tutorial somewhere about this.

The background option is for 360° panoramas only, not for simple photos. Better you place a plane with a texture in the background, if you need a view out the window. (emitter material)
