Can anyone explain to me why I'm getting odd stretching in the texture mapping on the edges of my models? You'll notice in the (simple) photo below, it always seems to occur on planer surfaces, but only on z-axis surfaces and not all the time either. This is a solid model and I have tried to explode it into all planer surfaces as well and it makes no difference. Any ideas?

It's seems to be caused by the default UV coordinates of your model. Better you join all surfaces again and assign a box mapping projection per object properties -> mapping ... .www.simulacrum.de - visualization for designer and architects
