  • Possible Interior Lighting Tutorial?

I just recently finished my first ever interior rendering and ran into quite a few problems while creating it and wasted a lot of time with "trial and error" issues. Would it be possible to create a tutorial focusing specifically on interior renderings covering everything from GI to point lighting (making a simple lamp look like it's realistically turned on) to shadow casting? Is there a tutorial already made that covers this from A to Z? For us newbies to VRay that have no formal training in 3D rendering and are basically self taught on all of this it would be a fantastic resource!

For instance, the "Rendering Desk Lamp in Vray" by Micha was invaluable in the beginning stages of my vray experience! How 'bout it Micha? Want to put another one together that we can all praise you for? ???

    Hi,

I'm an independent freelancer and not from the ASGvis staff - so my work here is for free. I created some tutorials in the past as I started to use Vray in my sparetime. Now I'm living from CG projects and if I have some sparetime, than ... family, garden, some rest .. .
Often, if a project is finished, than I must write bug reports to the different companies or make tests for improvements of my daily software tools like VfR, Unfold3D, DevalVR, XnView ... or I must try to learn new CG technics like T-Spline.
I hope, in the future some of the new users will post tutorials at the tutorial section of the forum.
