mask material with different kind of glass in each part ????

Let's say I have a panel of frosted glass,in which I want to have lots of non regular pattern that are not frosted but clear,how do I go to make that.

I tried a mask,where the white part is the frosted glass and where the black part should be clear glass....it does not work,I tried white and grey,closer but not clear enough.

I don't seem to be able to assign a transparent material,in the black part.Is it possible ?

Hi Renne
I'm not sure if this is the effect that you are trying to reproduce. If is this effect just apply the black and white texture on the glossiness mapping under the refraction layer and change the Glossines value to something below 1.
