  • problem with reflection, refraction

    Hi there,

    i have attached a perfume bottle here with , it seems something is missing, the reflection and refraction seems to be weird pls help me to improve this rendering.

    Maybe the surface normals are not showing outward.

      how to change surface normals ??? and when i render only the bottle without liquid it turns out to be nice but when i unhide liquid object and render then it creates problem

        Okay, I see it now....from just the first image I wasn't sure exactly what you were referring too. I would check and make sure that the liquid inside the perfume bottle is not coplanar with the inside surface of the bottle. Its really much better to actually scale the liquid up slightly so that it extends slightly into the glass volume. This will hopefully fix those odd reflections and make the liquid look more realistic.
