DRSpawner failed

When I start DSRpawner it just say "failed to initialize slave renderer" (and the window dissapear in a second) instead of usual "Successfully loaded to the ASGvis distributed rendering slave...hit ctrl-c to exit". Does anybody know what is wrong?

Different versions of VfR at master and spawner was the reason for some problems here in the past.

Thanks for the fast naswer, but I dont think, tat this is the solution, because the same version of V-Ray and Rhino I have already instaled on another computer and there is everything working correctly.

I would try reinstalling. I don't see any real reason for that to be happening if you;re just starting it up, so possibly something went wrong during the install process

Hello, any update on this topic (drspawner failed to initialize) ?
I am having the same problem. Cannot run it even on the same machine where Vray is isntalled (so it is not versions problem).

One idea

Are any of your computers on the network via wireless?

I've had problems with larger files and transfer times/time-outs when on a wireless network (even though DrSpawner never says what the problem was, just that it failed) So, I will move and jack in all of the computers. Then, the Vray DRspawner will work perfectly.
