  • control a color bleeding in vray for rhino

In the vray for max, I can control the GI parameter of individual materials or objects.

However, I couldn't find it in vray for rhino.

In the vray for max, System rollout, I can find objects settings... button.

What is the same function in the vray for rhino?

In the material editor, select a Material and open the "maps" rollout. There you should find a "GI" slot. Never used it, but it might be what you're looking for...

I think what dopesoul is referring to in this case is GI contribution setting in the per object properties. Right now this is an feature that we don't have supported in VfR yet. This is on the list of features that we'll have in the next full version. In the meantime, you can precalculate your IR and LC calculations with a material that matches the GI that you're looking for, save those calculations, load them up, switch the material back, then rerender. This actually works very well in most cases.
