  • object on white with ground shadows and no background

Does anyone know how to render an object with shadows on a ground plane but no background? I used to render in Alias and there was a setting you could use for your ground plane shader called 'use background color'. You'd set your background to white, apply the shader to the floor and your rendering would have perfect ground plane shadows and the rest would be white. It was a very simple way to render. I spend a lot of time in Vray trying to get rid of the floor plane or sweep. Can you do this in vray? help. thanks.
