  • what options did I use?

    Hi all-

is there a quick and easy way to tell which render option file is used for a rhino file?

ie I have many renders and rhino files and in many cases modified the render option file and saved it as a new file for future use. However, I was recently asked to duplicate certain render characteristics in a new render. It would be great if I didn't have to sort through all the render options one by one to see which had those settings. I know I could recreate easily enough with time, but that's always a premium.

also, it would be great if there was a way to tell which file I just loaded before an interuption. Perhaps the name of the option file in use could be displayed in the option settings window so you know what you've got. That would also help prevent accidental overwrites.

If there's no way to do this currently, please add to the wishlist!

    Thanks! Bill

Ok, maybe a better question is, "how does everyone else manage their render option files?"

Am I the only one finding it a little difficult over time?

    tia!

I use 4 settings files, that I find very useful:
      1) Exterior_High: for final exterior renders
      2) Exterior_Low: for testing exterior scenes
      3) Interior_High: for final interior renders
      4) Interior_Low: for testing interior scenes
