  • Automated Render Viewport Function???

Is there a way to tell Vray/Rhino to render the current viewport, save the file to disk, then automatically switch the camera to the next saved view (under set views, named views) render that viewport, save it, then go the next view, render that one, and so on and so forth?

What I'm getting at, is that I'd like to be able to set up all of my named views, hit render, and in the morning when I wake up all views have been rendered and saved to disk. This way you avoid having to "babysit" the computer while rendering out several views. I know this is simalar to what the program does for an animation, so I'd think it would be possible for the saved views as well, but maybe I'm wrong.

    Thanks!

The only way I have been able to do it is to save out each separate view as a new file and then run this Rhino Script. Kind of sucks that you have to do it this way but it works.

Just copy the code into notepad and save the file. Then go to Tools>RhinoScript>Load

From there it is pretty self explanatory. Just make sure all your files are the way you would like them and when you save it make sure you have the view port you want rendered selected. Let me know if you have any troubles.
