Is there any reason NOT to use the Physical camera all the time? Is it slower to render than the standard? I have a lot of photography experience and have gotten in the habbit of using Vray's Physical camera to aid in adjusting scene exposure, it's just easier for me that way. The reason I ask is that I know most use the Physical camera only when using the sun. The only con I know of is that you can't use the sperical camera's, etc.

    Thanks,
    Hoop

    Re: Physical Camera

I always use the Physical Camera. I prefer to adjust exposure like a real camera.

Think mostly it's a matter of preference unless you need some of the features of the non-physical camera.
Please mention what V-Ray and SketchUp version you are using when posting questions.

Good to hear, just making sure I wasn't doing something in a less efficient manner. Thanks THOMTHOM.

I am noticing it a lot easier to control exposure settings using the physical camera so I am starting to use it more and more.
