I am running Vray for Rhino on Win7 and it seems to work perfectly so far. However, I'm running it on Rhino 4. In Rhino 5, Vray for Rhino doesn't even show up as a renderer option.

Before, on XP, it would work just as well in Rhino 5 and Rhino 4.

Does anyone know if this has something to do with Win 7?

    Re: Windows 7

    Hey Billy,

Most of the users I have talked to can not get the software to run at all with Rhino 5. They are not even in beta yet so we have not begun testing with it. Odds are they are going to move around a lot of things. I am surprised that you ever got V-Ray to work with Rhino 5 but I would not count on it happening again.

All of the Windows 7 users I have spoke to have little to no trouble and the ones that have any, have been able to fix it by installing in "xp mode"

I think your issue is Rhino 5.

      Hey Alrami,

Yeah, I had it VfR working with Rhino 5 in XP no problem. Switching back to Rhino 4 is no big deal and VfR in Win7 is working great! I've heard of people switching over to XP mode but I haven't had to for anything. Thanks for the link - helpful information.
