  • Vray installation on Windows 7

    Hi everyone,
I just have a new computer, and have installed rhino 4.0 SR7, everything is ok. I have Windoes 7 (64bits). Then i tried to install Vray, and it didn't work.... I already had Vray on XP 32bits, everything was fine. When i install it, it didn't even ask the Licence number, then when i open Rhino, it says something about RHP and/or dll that are missing. I'm completely lost i really appreciate any help from you!!!

    Hello Laurent,

Windows 7 has some strange permissions and this can happen. Try this, remove V-Ray using the add or remove programs option then find and delete the file C:\ProgramData\ASGvis. Afterwards re-install V-Ray and be sure to right click on the .exe file for the installer and select the option to "run as administrator" You have to do this even if you are logged in as an administrator but if you do all of the above steps in order you should have no more trouble.

      Hi,
I've tried to do this, but it doesn't work at all, It says it cannot load the file from the module, I'm lost... Everytime i have to install Vray, it's such an hassle, i can't understand why... Do i need to download the rhino rdk first?
