Any Rendering Tips /Materials For Tensile Fabric Membrane Structure

Hello Everyone,

Does anyone have any rendering tips/tutorials, premade materials or tips on creation of materials for rendering a Tensile Fabric Membrane Structure. (Big Organic Tent) I would like it if the material to seemed more translucent the more a light was shone though it, especially at night.

Hi Fernando

Here are a few images of what i am trying to achive...







To note in the 3rd image would be in part the desired affect where the structure that holds up the membrane is closer to the surface, though my structure is a steel truss system not a grid shell lattice.

nice examples!

Getting this effect is quite simple, 40th posted a tutorial some time ago in here. I've been stuck a little when trying to apply this to a 2sided material, have a look over here to see how it works.

And now, we're quite curious to see the results
