I am working through some cylindrical photographs which have been created using overlapping single frames to give an exact 90 degree cylidrical view. I have then used rhino to replicate the camera position in a 3D model and generating 'cylindrical (point)' 90 degree rendered views using VRay. I have been merrily using the cylndical (point) camera believing this was working. However on close inspection I am certainly not getting the cylindrical view I was expecting.
The only way of producing this appears to be creating a series of overlapping 40 degree frames and merging them in PhotoSHOP.
Has anyone had similar experiences or advice as to how to get the cylindrical view (point) option in VRay to work correctly?
I am working with the latest versions of both packages.
Thanks
Mike
