material download problem

Hi All,
I've been trying to download several materials to practice with. I'm particularly interested in the liquid choices for ocean water, though I've been surprised to get this response:

The document is being edited/updated by a User and is unavailable at this moment.

Since I'm new I'm wondering if what this says should be taken at face value which still begs the question - when can I get access to these materials? Otherwise, am I doing something incorrectly?

I'm getting this message too when I try to download the water_pool2 material, and my deadline is fast approaching. Help getting this sorted would be most appreciated.
