Velvet and silk material

HI all,

I'm trying to create a velvet material at the moment and haven't a clue where to get started as i can't find any tutorials about it on Vray for rhino. Unfortunately also i have an older version of vray and readily available vismats won't work with my version...
Should i use a velvet map on my diffuse layer? Would anyone be so kind as to give me some hints on where to get started? I could use some hints on silk also :-[
Any help or pointing toward a relevant tutorial would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jo,

I have a velvet material in my materials folder thet I'm pretty sure came as a default material (i.e. I did not create it . . .)

I can't find it in the downloads section however. . . so I'm guessing it came as part of a update.
