  • Using Vismat materials in Rhino

Hi im new to this site and I needed some help. I have Vray for rhino and I downloaded the vismat material collection and im not sure how to use it. Do I put that folder somewhere in the vray plugin folder inside Rhino or do I have to change the file types or something. Any help someone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

All you need to do is put the material colloction somewhere that is easy(ish) to access

You could put the materials in to bolster your current Default Library. . .

This is just a suggestion: The Default Library on my system installed in: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ASGvis\Materials. . . (The 'Application Data' folder was hidden on my system, You may need to 'display hidden folders' in order to find it).

Then in Vray for Rhino all you need to do; In your materials window right click the default material and go to the 'Import Material' it should take you to the default library. . . select your material. . . Assign it to objects. . . you know the rest(?)

      Hope this helps
