Horrible washed out edge.. Trapped light?

Hi Guys,
Im getting glowing/washed out edges whenever i am using a spotlight. The pic below should explain.



Any ideas how to get rid of this, i want the edges to have definition. Also any ideas on how to improve the light inside the shelf areas would help.

Hello there did you checked clamp output and subpixel boxes in the color mapping tab in the V-Ray options panel?

Also any ideas on how to improve the light inside the shelf areas would help.

Use a HDRI for the GI and tryout with Inverse Squeare Point light, or invisible, decayed lights inside the shelf.
