  • everything is low res

    Hi Guys,

I am new to Vray but had been getting great results with the trial version. Now everything is very fuzy and low res when rendering.
Am I missing some setting that is causing this?

Is it because the trial version is expired or something?

    Re: everything is low res

post a render, and maybe someone will have an answer. "low res" could mean a lot of things. For example, itt could mean:
-your textures are pixelated or blurred.
-your output resolution is like 320x240 instead of a larger resolution like 1600x1200.
-your models appear blocky or not smooth.
-your displacement edge length is too long, and you have odd displacement artifacts.

If you post a picture, we'll be able to see what you're talking about though. In case you're not sure how to post images, check this post out:

Nope, the trial is actually the same as the commercial product, the only difference is the license you're using. If the license expires, the product no longer functions at all.

      Thanks for the quick response,

I have been at this all day and yesterday as well, I was rendering at 320x240, but I rendered the same thing at 1600x1200 and they are identical. I am using vray for rhino 4.0
